Welcome to my blog! In this first post, I'll give you a quick intro to who I am.

So, why did I decide to start this blog?

Since the beginning of 2022, I've taken a step back from social media. No, it's not some kind of monk-like asceticism or a silent protest; I genuinely enjoy scrolling through updates, keeping tabs on friends, acquaintances, and interesting public figures. I just found myself not hitting that 'post' button. You know how it goes. I've attempted to keep up with social media, sharing stories and posts, but I always ended up stopping after 2-3 months of activity. So, I was thinking, what to do? I love sharing my experiences and thoughts but not so much into photos, videos, or short texts. Then it hit me – a blog, where I can do what I love. Hope you love it too!

Even though I'm not much of an online presence, my offline life has been interesting and eventful. A friend nailed it in one sentence:

"The Ukrainian married to a Brazilian, living and working in Bali" – revealing who I am, with whom, and what I'm doing.

Before you hit me with those "Oh, Bali" reactions, let me tell you straight up: living, especially running a business, working, and traveling in Bali are like two different worlds. Sharing the non-touristy side of life on the Island of the Gods is one of my big ideas.

Now, let's delve into what I'm currently doing in Bali. Today, let's keep it short and talk about business. I'm married to an amazing guy who's also a talented architect, and I'm a skilled hotel manager. Together, we've combined our talents in the company Bookit Villas real estate, offering a comprehensive range of services related to investments and property on the Island of Bali.

Since 2022, Bali has experienced a tremendous boom in development. Foreigners have long recognized this island as a lucrative investment opportunity, primarily in real estate. They will share their real experiences. These are incredible people from different countries with rich experiences, united by courage, unafraid of change, ready to take risks, and expand their horizons.
